👀 Back when Upsala Glacier had this much ice, Madonna's "Like a Virgin" was Billboard's number one hit. 

The South American glacier is situated in the Patagonian Ice Field between Chile and Argentina, where many glaciers have retreated over the last 50 years due to rising temperatures.

According to the European Space Agency, Upsala retreated 9 km (5.6 mi) between January 27 1985 and February 26 2021, when these satellite images were taken.
