Picking up last minute ingredients for your Thanksgiving feast? Make sure to grab the ingredients below to whip up a simple, delectable mocktail for the family! We’re hosting this year and so excited to share a pitcher of this with our guests!

The spiced persimmon syrup, made with sweet persimmon, coconut sugar, mulling spices, and vanilla bean, mixes up with ginger beer, fresh lemon juice, and sparkling water for a spicy but refreshing Thanksgiving mocktail. Happy Thanksgiving!

Spiced Persimmon Syrup
◻️ 1 persimmon, diced
◻️ 3/4 cup coconut sugar
◻️ 1/2 tbsp mulling spices
◻️ 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste
◻️ 1 cup water

Spiced Persimmon Mocktail (makes 1 - see below for batch)
◻️ 3/4 oz spiced persimmon syrup
◻️ 2 oz ginger beer
◻️ 1/4 oz lemon juice 
◻️ 1/2 cup sparkling water
◻️ Garnish: Persimmon, thyme, star anise

Spiced Persimmon Syrup
1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and cool. Strain into a container.

Spiced Persimmon Mocktail
1. Add spiced persimmon syrup, ginger beer, and lemon juice to a glass. Fill the glass with ice. Top off with sparkling water.
2. If desired, garnish with a persimmon slice, thyme and star anise.

For Batch: (Serves 8-10)
◻️ 1 cup spiced persimmon syrup
◻️ 2 1/2 cups ginger beer
◻️ 2 1/2 oz lemon juice
◻️ 5 cups sparkling water
◻️Sliced persimmon, sliced lemon

1. Combine all ingredients in a pitcher with ice. Divide into glasses and enjoy.
