"UCSD was a stand-out choice for me because of the ICAM - Music program, and I have been beyond satisfied with my decision to go here! I have met countless amazing people with diverse interests and found communities to which I feel deeply connected. I have made great friends and love the social groups I’m a part of!

I have gotten to explore the ins and outs of the brutalist architecture on this campus through the parkour community and have performed for many types of student-run music gigs! I even got to study abroad in Paris and learn about Jazz history while being in a foreign country!

Something I’ve been happy about personally is the fact that the campus is so close to nature. I always feel like I can reconnect and decompress if needed. On a typical day, you can find me triple-checking my planner, hanging out in the music studios or radio station, jumping on walls, or getting food at Price Center! See you around!" - guyster5
