## Caption

The iconic portrayal of organized crime in "The Godfather" is well-known, but what does the contemporary mafia look like in 2023? According to a Brooklyn judge, mobsters are no longer resorting to violence. This perspective led the judge to release two alleged members of the Gambino crime family, 48-year-old Diego Tantillo and 57-year-old Angelo Gradilone, among ten individuals charged earlier this month. The charges stem from an aggressive attempt to seize control of garbage-hauling and demolition businesses in New York.
