Officially graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 🥳

Today marks the end of one of the most fulfilling chapters in my lifetime. Reflecting on the past year, I am so thankful for the way God worked in my life. I took a leap of faith and became a professional soccer player while taking courses remotely. After being informed that I had to attend my remaining courses in person, I was overwhelmed by the prospect of delaying the completion of my degree until after my soccer career ends. Nevertheless, God reminded me to trust Him with all my heart and lean not into my own understanding. A week after being notified of the attendance policy, I was traded to NC Courage, which meant that I would be able to return home, play in front of family & friends, AND complete my degree in person.

COVID stripped many of us from a normal college experience, but God replaced it with a proper conclusion to my time in the Southern Part of Heaven! Although I had long days, I am so grateful to have had the chance to live the best of both worlds: playing professionally as a college student. I even had the opportunity to walk in the May graduation with my teammates in the class of ‘22. It was so rewarding to reconnect with friends, professors, and staff members that made my collegiate experience second to none. Thank you to uncchapelhill for the best 4.5 years, unckenanflagler for the remote learning accommodations, theramsclub for the Complete Carolina funding, uncwomenssoccer for a platform to chase excellence, shaneonig for capturing my joy and gratitude in these photos, and thenccourage for their unwavering support.
