Today, we are thrilled to announce that the @prsciencetrust1 has been selected as one of the 60 recipients of the prestigious 'Build to Scale' grants by the @edagov 

The $53 million in grants will be instrumental in driving innovation, supporting entrepreneurs, and fostering economic growth across the nation. At #parallel18, we are proud to represent Puerto Rico as part of the 10th cohort of this impactful program.

As part of this initiative, we are pleased to share that #parallel18, under the umbrella of #PRSTRT, will be managing a life sciences innovation incubator program called BioLeap. This program aims to boost economic development through innovation and entrepreneurship in key focus areas such as biotechnology, AI-driven medical technologies, genomics, and more.

BioLeap is positioned as the go-to resource for life sciences entrepreneurs on the island, bridging the gap between cutting-edge local scientific research and commercialization. Our program will provide a singular access point to essential resources for launching a life sciences startup, including technical assistance, access to capital, and co-working spaces. BioLeap is designed to create a supportive environment where life sciences entrepreneurs can structure their businesses, develop functional prototypes, and cultivate patentable technologies with the ultimate goal of global commercialization.

We are excited about the potential impact of BioLeap on Puerto Rico's innovation ecosystem and look forward to nurturing the growth of groundbreaking ventures in the life sciences sector.
