Just before United Nations climate negotiations began this week, GreenpeaceUSA lit up the Hollywood Sign with a message to world leaders — we demand an end to the age of oil! #EndFossilFuels⁣

The climate crisis is here and it’s terrifying. Fossil fuels are driving record-breaking heat waves, wildfires, drought, and extreme weather; destroying homes, lives, and the nature that sustains us. The world has been thrown out of balance and our most vulnerable communities are experiencing the most harm. Why? Because of the deception and greed of Big Oil villains like exxonmobil, chevron, conocophillips, shell, and bp.⁣

But the show is not over. Our people & planet deserve a Hollywood ending that ensures a clean, green, livable future for all. ⁣

We call on world leaders to be the climate champions we need and end the use & expansion of the biggest climate killers: oil, gas, and coal. To survive this crisis, we must force fossil fuel polluters to stop drilling and start paying for the damage they’ve caused.
