Did you know Jake Diekman is one of a few known professional athletes to undergo j-pouch surgery due to ulcerative colitis and resume playing professionally after recovery?

In 2017, jakediekman founded the gutitout Foundation to connect Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis patients and caregivers - empowering them through education, resources and inspiration.
