December is a month a lot of us overindulge with food and to make things even more challenging, December 4 is National Cookie Day! 🍪If you're going to eat a cookie, it should have at least one healthy ingredient in it. So, I decided to share with you our peanut butter cookie recipe.🍪

Gather your ingredients and follow the baking instructions below: 

-Sift dry ingredients together (pastry flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt), and set aside.
-Cream sugars & shortening together, scraping sides often. 
-Add peanut butter and mix until smooth. 
-Add eggs one at a time. 
-Add milk and stir in dry ingredients until blended. 
-Bake at 375 degrees until done.
