These words by Madonna have never been more true. In a world that moves at high speeds with constant pressure, we have to find time to relax. 

The holidays are about recharging those batteries and finding joy in the quiet, so we attack the new year with vigor and vivacity. 

As an athlete, recovery is such a huge piece of performance. It should be no different in the professional world. We can only be at our best if we incorporate rest. 

You will find me by the fire, sipping hot chocolate and reminiscing about those good times. Oh and of course, wearing my comfy paritynow hoodie and sweatpants.
