Seafood during the holidays is a strong tradition in my family—from appetizers to mains, it has become synonymous with celebration. Getting in the holiday spirit has never been easier than with gortonsseafood! This platter was inspired by a layered southern shrimp dip and takes minutes to put together—not to mention, it’s so festive and delicious. The perfect party bite comes together quickly so you can spend more time with those you love. Made with premium, tender, tail-on shrimp in classic panko breadcrumbs, Gorton’s Butterfly Shrimp pairs beautifully with the layered dip. Ingredients:
• 1 package of Gorton’s Butterfly Shrimp
• 1 (8oz) block of cream cheese
• 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped
• Celery ribs for serving
• Crackers fir serving
Cocktail sauce
• ½ cup ketchup
• ¼ cup prepared horseradish
• 1 garlic clove grated
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp chili crisp
 
Cooking Instructions:
1. In a bowl combine all ingredients for the cocktail sauce. Keep it refrigerated until ready to serve.
2. Cook the shrimps in the air fryer as per package instructions.
3. In a platter cut the cream cheese block diagonally and arrange the triangles to create a big triangle like a tree. Add 1” celery rib at the bottom of the tree.
4. Spread the cocktail sauce over the cream cheese. Add a star cut from yellow bell pepper.
5. Sprinkle with chopped chives.
6. Arrange crackers, celery ribs, and Gorton’s Butterfly Shrimp around the Christmas tree.
7. Serve and enjoy!
