@e40 is a hip-hop legend and has EARNED the right to be vocal about the current state of hip hop.

In a recent interview on @cbsmornings, E-40 spoke with @nateburleson about celebrating Hip Hop's 50th Anniversary but also shared what he feels the game is missing.

As we celebrate Hip Hop's 50th, it's ok to admire and appreciate how far we've come, but also take an introspective look into our current state.

If we are the culture, we have to protect it and in doing so, that requires open and honest conversations.
What do you as fans think? Artists, what do you think? ⬇️

Keep it real, but keep it respectful. #BET #WhereBlackCultureLives
