On the other side of this door 🚪 in the Verstandig Pavilion, see our new high-tech tool to help during brain 🧠 surgery, because MedStar Georgetown is the only hospital in the region to offer the most advanced, movable intraoperative MRI system called IMRIS. 

It provides real-time imaging, so neurosurgeons can precisely remove brain tumors, accurately place electrodes during deep brain stimulation surgeries, minimize risk, and reduce the need for post-op imaging and additional surgeries.
