No. 1 Esports Program in Texas 🏆

It’s been such a pleasure to lead the utdesports program under the Department of Athletics over the past 5 years as its Esports Student Director. From marketing, social media, to creative deliverables for securing partnerships, to our varsity titles and the university’s first-ever National Championship Title under Athletics (later back to back from 2019 and 2020) — I owe a lot of my professional career success back to this program/department. To all of the student staff I oversaw — you all were phenomenal, creative, and highly talented. Esports & Gaming goes beyond just the competitive sport, with the building of our Events Team, Broadcasting & Production, Content Creator Program, and award-winning Social Media Team. 

It’s been an amazing 5 years, excited to see where things go next with Esports at ut_dallas next. ❤️

(During my undergrad, I had the pleasure of also working for professional esports teams evilgeniuses, opticgaming, complexitygaming. All of that came from utdesports) 

Trust a student(s) with your program, and see what they can accomplish. Every university should be empowering young talent to help grow their university to further levels. Huge thanks to the Athletics Dept. Leadership & Head Esports Coaches during my time for trusting me with Esports, now begins the next generation. 

Cool to see the success of a program lead to a $10M+ gaming compound being built on our college’s campus in the coming years, one of many cool projects to come.
