I was so lost.⁣.
⁣
I remember sitting in a meeting and repeating “I don’t even want pizza” in my head over and over to myself just to get through it without eating a slice. Does that sound healthy? More healthy than just eating one slice, feeling satisfied, and stopping?⁣
⁣
I remember picking up a box of Oreos and eating the whole thing and then feeling sick and disappointed after. Is this healthy? Healthier than eating a couple for dessert after a nice meal?⁣
⁣
I remember telling myself over and over that I was fine, I was being “healthy”, when I truly wasn’t.⁣
⁣
After months of restricting myself I had all these internal food police alarms going off telling me what I should eat, what I can’t eat, what time to eat, how much to eat, it was exhausting. And definitely NOT healthy.⁣
⁣
My top 3 tips for shifting your thinking to a healthy, balanced mindset:⁣
1. Focus on your body and mind and what it truly needs to be happy and healthy. Honor that.⁣
2. LEARN. Do everything in your power to debunk those myths that have built up walls inside you. Knowledge is power! (We do this weekly in my free FB group, click the link in my bio if you want to join!)⁣
3. Finally, work on your mindset. Love and respect yourself enough to give your body what it needs.⁣
