Diagnosed with sickle-cell anemia at a very young age, Elyas and his family moved from Kenya to the United States where they would receive affordable care at #ChildrensInn nihgov 

I’ve interviewed MANY young people in my career, Elyas, with his story of perseverance coupled with an indelible spirit, is amongst my All-Time faves 🙌🏽
