And while you can watch competitive skijoring races at family-friendly festivals like Minnesota's upcoming Great Northern or the annual Barkie Birkie Skijor in Wisconsin, you can also join in on the fun. ⁠

Grab a doggy day pass and ski down eight different dog-friendly trails at Tahoe Donner in Truckee, California. If you’re up for a challenge, register for Minocqua Winter Park’s 10K, 5K, and 3K skijoring races in Minocqua, Wisconsin or try horse-led skijoring at The Green O in Greenough, Montana.
