Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from The Valencias!
Truth be told, I wanted one of those fancy holiday card photos, but Ricky had other plans. He was determined to wear his alligator costume.
After trying to fight it, I surrendered and we all changed clothes to reflect who we really are as a family. Instead of some false picture perfect image, we decided it was best to be ourselves. Afterwards, I said to Ellie, “I’m sorry, I just wanted things to be perfect.” 
Her response; “Daddy nothing is perfect.” And then I cried because that’s just about as perfect a response as I could have hoped. I love my family. And I love you all!
