College football media gets this wrong all the time.

19 of this year’s final AP top 25 teams had a transfer quarterback.

In the last four years of the transfer portal, transfer quarterbacks have proven to be the difference between success and a middling season. So why does college football media, which I’m a part of, consistently get this wrong?

I went back and checked out three transfers we missed some things on, so I can hopefully get a better read on the 2024 portal.
