Old Fashioned Holiday Buttermints 
Such a simple treat to make during the holidays and you’ll only need a few ingredients! For an authentic creamy flavor and texture, use a high quality butter like challengebutter in the recipe.

You’ll Need:
1/2 cup salted challengebutter, softened
1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
1/4-1/2 tsp peppermint extract 
4 cups powdered sugar
1 tbsp heavy cream
red & green food coloring 

1. Place all ingredients besides food coloring into a large mixing bowl and beat on low until smooth- the mixture will be very thick.
3. Take small sections of the dough and roll into balls. Dip a fork into powdered sugar, then flatten each one. Place the patties onto a sheet of parchment paper to dry for 24 hours. Spritz with edible glitter as a finishing touch if you like!
