## Caption

This past weekend I got to experience usawrestling Wrestling in a different light! I’ve been a fan, competitor, and now I went to the United States Olympic Trials Qualifer in Fort Worth, Texas as a Coach for 2 Senior Level athletes. 

The more I get removed from competing in these types of events my appreciation for the role of coaches and support systems grows! I’m super grateful for my time as an athlete and I’m even more grateful for those that invested in me through their support! Success isn’t a lonely endeavor it’s a supported one! 

I asked a respected coach in the sport what makes a great coach and his first response was SACRIFICE! As I grow as a man I am much more aware of the sacrifices that have to be made in order to accomplish dreams and even come short of them! Make sure to thank those in your corner for investing and sacrificing to put you in position whether it was/is a coach, teacher, pastor, supervisor, parent, colleague, etc. Take the time to recognize the support/sacrifice needed to show up! #BeRARE
