All Oregon adult couples, regardless of gender, will be able to register as legal domestic partners beginning Jan. 1 of next year.

The Oregon Family Fairness Act, first passed by the state Legislature in 2007, currently allows same-sex couples to enter into Oregon Registered Domestic Partnerships.
