Did you know... Boxing Day in Welsh is "Gŵyl San Steffan" (St Stephens Day).

December 26 is thought to be the day donation boxes in churches were opened to honour St Stephen.

San Steffan is also Welsh for Westminster, as the House of Commons used to meet in St Stephen’s Chapel.
