## Caption

Every year during this week between Christmas and the New Year, I set aside some time to reflect on the previous year and to set intentions (not goals)for the year ahead. Today, I am working on setting personal, professional, health, and spiritual intentions for myself and I’m already feeling energized and inspired! I also like to set a word for myself each year. The word for 2024 is PRESENCE. I am a goal-driven person with a lot of irons in the fire. I have found that I don’t take the time to truly celebrate victories and joyful moments because I’m too busy rushing to the next thing. As a working mom with multiple businesses, I’m constantly being pulled in a million different directions, leaving me racked with guilt and exhaustion. I want this to be the year that I really take the time to be present where I am at that moment and to feel and experience the beautiful moments in life. Being a mother has taught me that even the simplest things can bring joy and that every moment is fleeting. There are lots of exciting things ahead for us in 2024 and I plan to savor those moments and feel joy. On the flip side, I’m committing to saying NO to things that don’t spark joy on some level or don’t fit in with my goals. What intentions have you set for the New Year?
