But is there a more iconic ending to the year than a giant pop tart at a football game? 

The Kansas State Wildcats beat the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Pop-Tarts Bowl Thursday night, 28-19. Overshadowing the actual football part was a giant Pop-Tarts mascot named Strawberry who did tricks with his oversized toaster.

The players and coaches celebrated their victory post-game with what else but a ginormous pop tart. Sports, man.
