I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions

If you want to make a change, you shouldn’t have to wait for a new year to start

I just don’t think it’s sustainable, that’s why people joke that the gym will be less crowded again by the end of January

I jump started my weight loss journey for what feels like the 100th time again in early 2023 because I witnessed first hand what happens when you don’t prioritize your health

I was already pre diabetic in 2022 and am insulin resistant and I was pretty much one Big Mac away from full blown diabetes

I’m prone to it because I have pcos and it runs in my whole family

While I am currently in a funk and up in weight from where I was a few weeks ago, I’m still in a better place than I ever was in the last 15 years

I’ll snap out of it and get back on track like I always do but for now I’m just gonna do what it takes to stay afloat

Tomorrow I celebrate my 37th birthday and I won’t feel bad about what I eat or drink but I will move my body regardless because that’s what makes me feel good

Fitness is no longer a punishment for me like it used to be, it’s a constant that helps my mental and physical being
