my top 10 favorite pictures of 2023

i wanted to take a moment to thank each and every person who’s supported me as a creative this year. 2023 was a huge year for me as i made the transition from photographer to creative, and i’m so thankful for the incredible opportunities this year brought me. going from a junior in high school shooting a few basketball games for his school newspaper to a freshman in college getting to stand under the lights of mercedes-benz stadium shooting the peach bowl is simply an incredible feeling, and sure even though i couldn’t get on the field, it was still an unforgettable experience. i want to give a specific thank-you to mr. moe and all the coaches at gogchsrams , dave and jonathan with ec_saints , coach tell and the players at emmanuel_mbb , chris with asaphoops_ , derek with slocheofficial , the people at chitownshowcase , dopevzn_ , and every single athlete who has liked, reposted, or used any of my content on their pages. it’s very satisfying as a creative to see you appreciate the moments i was able to preserve for you, and to be just a tiny part of your stories. i also want to thank all the other creatives around me that i’ve been lucky enough to be in the company of, for teaching me how to grow my brand and enhance my work. i can’t wait for all the adventures and experiences 2024 will bring, and i’m so thankful for every single player, coach, parent, AD, faculty member, and teacher who got me to where i am now, and for where i will go this year.

much love,
dlaub
