Join us in welcoming a new #OpticaAmbassador: Gavrielle Untracht!

Gavrielle Untracht is a postdoctoral researcher in the Biophotonics Imaging Group at the Technical University of Denmark.

During her first year as an Optica Ambassador, Gavrielle will focus on expanding opportunities for Optica members to participate in outreach and public engagement. 

She worked with Optica Ambassadors Danuta Sampson and Maria Vinas on optics and photonics activities for the visually impaired. She also looks forward to exploring more opportunities with fellow 2024 Ambassador Ana Kren Reyes, who has done similar work in Mexico.

In her free time, Gavrielle loves dancing and cooking, once auditioning to be on a dance-related reality TV show and has performed in an off-broadway show with the Duke Ellington Orchestra.
