redsox won the rubber match of the three game series with mariners by a score of 12-3 on a blistering cold and windy night fenwaypark. 

On his 24th birthday, bryant_bello99 got the win, striking out a career high 7, only giving up 1ER over 5IP. He also had a career high 19 swing and misses. 

Things got a little dicey in the 2nd but the wind knocked down a potential go ahead three run homerun to right that Verdugo managed to catch on the track. They had a good laugh about it as they headed back to dugout. 

Despite the brutal conditions, the Sox pounded out 16 hits, scoring 12 runs. The scoring started in the 1st with a Devers RBI knock scoring Turner, followed by a 2 run bases loaded double by pabloreyes15. Reyes went 2-5 w 4 RBI. 

The scoring continued in the 2nd when redturn2 hit a line driver HR into the Monster, making it 5-0. They would go on to score 6 in the inning with RBIs from Reyes, Hernandez, and Duran. 

The Sox are now 6-2 in home series on the year as they head out on a long 9 game west coast trip where we’ll get to see some old friends. 

The next homestand starts 5/30 when the Sox welcome the Reds and Rays to Fenway.
