## Caption

Shots from the Saturday night 13-12 slugfest with the Orioles on another rainy night at Fenway. The start was delayed by hour and a half due to rain, followed by a 3:40 minute marathon game with intermittent rain throughout the contest. Those who braved the elements saw a wild back and forth AL East battle. 

In the game, there were a combined 37 hits. The Sox held up blow-for-blow with the first place Orioles, but their rally attempt, and their city connect magic, fell short in the 9th with the tying run stranded at third. 

Seven Sox players had multi-hit games. redturn2 got the party started with a two run homer in the first. Story had three hits including a clutch two out two RBI double in the bottom of the 9th. wilyerabreu had a huge game going 5-5, including an exciting opposite field RBI single in the ninth, putting the tying run at 3rd, where they were ultimately stranded. 

The Orioles powerful offense showcased why they’re in first place, slugging 5 HRs, including two from McCann. Westburg, Hicks, and Henderson each hit HRs too. 

The Sox look to bounce back as the cellar dweller Yankees come to Boston for a four game series. The Yankees haven’t finished in last place in the AL East since 1990, so a big series win could be a nice confidence boost for the Sox in the final stretch of the season.
