We ran a study to assess the festive activity of every city across the UK, which revealed the nation’s ultimate Christmas revellers – and the crown went to … Newcastle. 

Alongside having some of the best Christmas markets in the country, being one of the most likely places in the UK to have a white Christmas, Tynesiders are our biggest flock of Early Bird Christmas planners. Newcastle residents put away more pounds ahead of the annual celebration than people in any other area across the UK.
