The Most Valuable Employee candidates are nominated by local employees who believe their employees display exemplary work ethic, are loyal to their employees, and are the epitome of teamwork. Supervisors are also asked to submit a letter of recommendation on why their employees should win. Additionally, the sponsor has the opportunity to sit in on the interviews and vote on their choice.
