## Caption

Discover the fascinating growth phases of the Emperor Penguin chicks. 
After hatching, the chicks are looked after and cared for by their devoted parents. 

Once the Emperor Penguin chicks can regulate their temperatures, they bravely leave the brood pouch of their fathers. Up until the chicks have grown their waterproof feathers, they are still completely reliant on their parents for survival. 

Please note all penguins are photographed from at least 5 meters (16.4ft) away, in accordance with IAATO regulations. Perspective in the image does not appear as in real life.
