So excited to share some MAJOR news with you guys today!!🫶🏼 
I shot my first ever short film! AND it’s already been selected for 8 international film festivals in India, won 2-3 award for “best short” and “best film on women” and recently nominated for the Jaipur International Film Festival!😭🙏🏼❤️🤯
I still can’t believe that this creative project with talented director and actress ishikamarwah and amnahhafeez is getting so much attention and notoriety!✨

A little back story on how we came up with the concept and what the short film is about:

Back in September, I planned a trip to visit Barcelona and initially wanted to do a bridal photoshoot while I was in a beautiful new country…so I reached out to one of my talented editors in Germany ishikamarwah to see if she would want to collaborate on my wild idea!❤️
Looking back, this was a story in itself…three women from different backgrounds coming together to explore the sights of a new city…and then our idea transformed into a short film✨

The storyline:
A newlywed South Asian bride wants to savor that enchanting “Bride” feeling exploring a new foreign city by herself. Initially she finds herself reserved and shy but as the day unfolds she embraces her confidence and radiance as a bride. . "Snooze" is a cinematic exploration of cultural contrast, self-discovery, and the transformative power of embracing change, all set against the backdrop of the enchanting city of Barcelona✨🫶🏼

None of this would be possible without ishikamarwah for starring, directing and editing the film (I LOVE it so much, she truly brought my shots to life) and my wonderful cousin amnahhafeez for styling, makeup and assisting!✨🫶🏼
Just goes to show, you can do anything if you put your time, energy and passion into creating!✨✨✨
