Meet 2024 #OpticaAmbassador Yating Wan!

Yating Wan is an Assistant Professor at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
She aims to strengthen Optica’s bond with the Middle East, launch a mentorship program for Middle Eastern women in STEM and more during her first year as an Optica Ambassador.

In particular, she wants to work with primary and secondary students to introduce them to the exciting world of optics.

Outside of the lab, she loves to explore different cuisines from around the world. She is also a running enthusiast.
