glad to share that two weeks from today - january 21 - i’ll be giving a recital at douglass boulevard christian church at 3 pm here in louisville. i will play, amongst other things, this exploration of the color blue by julian anderson which in a very clever manner shines a fresh light on this mompou-esque music by slightly adjusting the tuning of the third string for a portion of the piece.
