Many years ago I remember I used to be so burned out by shooting South Asian weddings…

Long hours on your feet, endless photos and videos to sit and edit behind a computer screen for months on end, feeling like I couldn’t get the creative shots I longed for because I would have to take the standard and “basic” photos that clients requested…

I was so burned out that I was considering to quit shooting South Asian weddings and try to become an elopement photographer✨ 

Being able to travel, only work with couples and not have to deal with crazy long hours and editing seemed like a much better vibe for me in my head..but I had already established a name for being a leading wedding photographer in the industry✨

I created this company from absolutely nothing, just an idea sitting in a parking lot when I was in high school. But I was so ready to throw it all away because I was overworked, underpaid and uninspired🥴

I realized I had to change the way I saw my business and restructure it to be what I WANTED it to be. I couldn’t expect a change overnight, I had to put in the work to start attracting the clients and luxury weddings I wanted to work with✨

I began growing my team and expanding my vision…training more professionals to work with me and editors to help my workload, and things started getting easier and lighter✨

As business owners and photographers, we tend to have to wear all the hats when we start out…but in order to grow, we can seek out mentors and people to help us along this path so we can focus on the things that light us up!❤️ and that’s part of how you level up!!
