Meet Nutmeg! We have officially gone from a party of five to a party of six! We applied to what felt like a college application (for good reason) to jerseypitsrescue and they called us yesterday for two options.  It was pretty clear who won over our hearts and it was this almost 10 week old little lady.

If you’ve followed me for a long time you know I have a soft spot for pits.  Sasha was my last one and we had an amazing 15 years together.  They are often misunderstood, often mistreated, and often taken by the wrong owners for the wrong reasons.  After a much needed break after our last two cats passed, we felt ready again to bring another rescue in. 

We absolutely love Nutmeg. It’s been just 24 hours and she’s got the most beautiful temperament full of kisses and mischievous puppy play.  Theres no denying she’s going to get the love she deserves from us, from our Brooklyn Heights community, and we know we’ll get the same in return.
