𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙚-𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙚𝙩?

Prior to the game I usually work on visualizing success. I like to keep my thoughts light and positive, giving me confidence for the game ahead. 

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙?

I contribute to the teams defensive strategy and communication by ensuring my teammates and I are on the same page. Whether it be during practice, prior to the game, or during the game I talk to my teammates about what our goal is depending on the situation. I think if my teammates and I are constantly discussing we have great success.

𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚?

For aspiring defensive players my advice would be to work on the little things. Practicing glove work, working on your throwing technique, and constantly expanding your softball IQ can help you improve one step at a time. I would also say have confidence in yourself, let the mistakes go and get ready for the next play. This can help take your game to the next level.
