Dr. Kjell Lindgren followed an unusual path to space, having graduated from the Academy in 1995. After a medical issue derailed hopes for a U.S. Air Force flying career during undergraduate pilot training, Dr. Lindgren turned his gaze toward the stars. 🌠
 
Now a flight surgeon for NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, having logged four and a half months in space, participating in two spacewalks, and serving as a commander for NASA's SpaceX Crew, Dr. Lindgren's words at NCLS will be sure to captivate. 🚀
 
But no one knows Dr. Lindgren's story better than his son, #USAFA Cadet 4th Class, Kai Lindgren.
