In 2019, BMW Group Culture ventured out with writer/curator Francesca Gavin and DJ Cassy to visit this extraordinary collection, now housed in a former caviar factory in the Lofoten Islands of Henningshvær, Norway. Unveiled in 2013, collectors Venke and Rolf A. Hoff, the creative minds behind KaviarFactory worked with the Norwegian architecture firm Element for the building’s stunning renovation, now adorned with artistic nuances like Michael Sailstorfer’s lettering and Bjarne Melgaard’s unique door handles.⁣

Beyond its artistic treasures, the collection’s seaside location adds a playful yet intriguing dynamic, fostering a captivating interplay between artworks, space, and nature. The exquisite space is extended by Venke and Rolf’s nearby lighthouse available for special occasions, just a short walk from the Factory.
