This winter Red Cabbage, Kale and Orange salad is on repeat in our house. So easy to make and it’s the best way to take advantage of winter produce. I’m using zulay_kitchen Electric Milk Frother for my dressing. Honestly, one of my favorite gadget in the kitchen. It’s has a large use from coffee to whisking eggs or salad dressings. If you don’t have one yet, you missing out. Enjoy my recipe! Red cabbage, kale and orange salad! 4 serving Ingredients 1 cup red cabbage shredded 1 cup Lacinato kale chopped thinly ( use curly Kale) 1 leek white part sliced thinly (use red onion or scallions) 1 orange segmented 1 grapefruit segmented 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped Pinch of salt 1 tbsp olive oil Dressing 2 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp orange juice 1 tbsp Dijon mustard 1 tsp honey 1/3 cup olive oil Salt and black pepper to taste Instructions In a large bowl add the red cabbage and kale. Drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Massage so the vegetables can soften. In a jar add all ingredients for the dressing. Mix well. I’m using zulay_kitchen Milk Frother In the bowl add the chopped leeks, orange and grapefruit and fresh cilantro. Drizzle with the dressing and toss gently to combine.
