Thierry Henry opens up about his childhood and his depression throughout his football career 🗣️

“Throughout my career, I have been depressed. To understand this, you have to go back to when I was young!

When I was a child, I didn't have any affection... when my father held me, the first thing he said was: "this baby will be an incredible football player."

He shaped me, he was tough. At 13, I played and won a match 6-0. I scored all 6 goals but... it was always what I didn't do that counted.

I always had the fear and the impression of pleasing others with my football and my money until the day my girlfriend and my children all started crying for the person I am. And then you feel human." ❤️
