#WorldSeaTurtleDay is a great time to mention that Florida’s @WhitneyLaboratory scientists are the first to successfully collect animal environmental DNA from beach sand and sequence eDNA from sea turtles. 🙌

This research will allow us to track their health and whereabouts in real time, advancing conservation strategies for turtles and other wildlife. 🐢
