Authorities have urged Oregonians to stay off the roads in Saturday’s winter storm, but you can still prepare in case your power goes out.

Portland General Electric offered a number of tips including  updating your information on PGE’s website so you can get outage and restoration alerts.

If you do not have a kit for a power outage, you can still gather what you have around home.
