The Black Community Commitment (BCC) is dedicated to investing in and supporting organizations that work to combat racial inequality for Black Americans here in Chicago. And our BCC recipients do just that. They’re doing the work, living the sacrifices, and moving progress forward — all while no one is looking.

thinkoutsidedablock aims to rally the community together and enhance Chicago youths’ interests, skills, and abilities through the use of positive development strategies.

As the first Black led, Trans-led LGBTQ+ center on Chicago’s Southside, bravespacealliance is designed to create and provide affirming and culturally competent services for the entire LGBTQ+ community of Chicago.

chigivesback believes in paying it forward. Their mission is to improve the welfare of our global community through innovative charitable experiences.

At its core, lcdccooperative is a neighborhood-centered, resident-inspired organization. The challenges they focus on revolve around the following areas: housing stability, financial stability, education access, community support, and neighborhood environment.
