“I don’t feel like posting the weddings or photoshoots I do because I’m not proud of my work!”

“My couples don’t look as luxurious and stylish as yours!”

“The weddings I shoot don’t have the best decor setups, hair and makeup, etc- how can I book high end weddings from lower budget weddings?!”

Here’s the deal my friends:

When you are starting out or even if you’ve been in business for many years, your work that you show on your website/social media is a reflection of the clients you work with! And sometimes we can be in a funk when the weddings we shoot do not match up to what we want our work to look like✨

And that’s because people are hiring YOU to document their day/photoshoot. You are providing a service to them based on what they choose to invest for their hair and makeup, decor, venue, etc.❤️

Of course, you want to always try your best in these situations but it can be frustrating when you just aren’t getting the looks that you want to showcase your work in the best way❤️

When I was in this position, I knew I had to change things up by investing in my education, learning more about lighting + posing and planning my own styled shoots where I could truly be a creative director in control of what I envisioned the shoot to be

And over time, as I gained confidence and started raising my prices to reflect the investments I was making in my business- I began to see that I was attracting more luxury weddings and brides that also wanted a certain aesthetic that matched with my editorial style looks❤️

If your work isn’t where you want it to be, you get to change that!🫶🏼
