This brings us to the end of another amazing and eventful day at the Interior Design Show idstoronto !

Sharon Portelli, ARIDO Executive Director and Registrar shazaxkejfa led an enlightening session on Interior Design Contracts and described key aspects of an interior design contract that should be included to ensure a successful project.

Later in the day she moderated the panel called Interior Design Projects Gone Wrong with Registered Interior Designer Maia Roffey of Black Sheep Interior Design blacksheepid, and Registered Interior Designer Michelle Mawby michellemawby of Lucid Interiors. This session highlighted failed projects where clients hired Interior Designers to fix botched and non-compliant projects.

Throughout the day, Interior Design students from sheridancollege and humbercollege led the ARIDO BID Activation and presented their conceptual projects and facilitated engaging discussions on topics of sustainability, EDI and more.

The students had a chance to have their portfolios reviewed by ARIDO members Jeremy Cheff, ARIDO jeruhmic and Emaa Issam, Intern ARIDO emaa_issam as part of our community hub.
