On Saturday, Jan. 13 Cason and Phillip Wolcott were sitting in the living room of their home in Gresham when a winter storm caused a tree to uproot and fall through their kitchen, splitting the couple's house in half as they sat just feet away. 

A week later, as arborists with Wind Thin Tree Service were there to remove the heavy debris from the home, Cason recounted the harrowing event.
