1. Why did you choose Clemson?

When I first visited Clemson in the spring of 2021, I instantly fell in love with this place. From the beautiful campus to academic excellence, I saw that Clemson was where I could grow and be supported as a first-generation college student. The welcoming atmosphere and the genuine sense of community at Clemson reassured me that this was not just a university but a home where my aspirations and unique journey as a first-generation college student would be embraced and celebrated.

2. What is your advice to Clemson students?

Embrace the different experiences college offers—step out of your comfort zone, join clubs and organizations, and make meaningful connections. College is a transformative period in which personal growth and academics are equally important. Use your Clemson journey as an opportunity to develop into the adult you want to be.

3. What has been your favorite Clemson accomplishment?

My favorite Clemson accomplishment has been volunteering in the Clemson community in various roles. I find it rewarding to have welcomed a new family to campus or completed a service project within the community. My ultimate goal is to give back to the community that has given so much to me.
